Vince Samson, PMHNP-BC

Vince Samson is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing virtual comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management to young adults and adults.

Vince began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Berkeley. He later earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, graduating with induction to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. He completed his clinical training through various New York City-based community health centers and has extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Vince utilizes a collaborative approach to medication management, which prioritizes providing extensive psychoeducation and medication education to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their own care. His practice philosophy focuses on treating symptoms effectively using the lowest possible dose while also avoiding unnecessary or excessive use of potentially addictive controlled substances whenever possible.
